Absolute Beginners’ Pottery Classes

If you’ve been inspired by The Great Pottery Throw Down and are looking to have a go at making your own ceramics, this class is the one for you! Learn a new hobby, meet some nice people and begin a creative journey… (plus we have tea and biscuits)

Class: Absolute Beginners’ Pottery Class

Dates and times: There will be two classes running concurrently, each comprising 6 sessions

Evening session - Wednesday 26th Feb- Wednesday 2nd April inc. 6.30-9pm

Morning session - (day tbc), one weekday morning w/c 24th Feb- w/c 31st March inc. 10am-12.30

Price: £175

Included in the course: You will be taught hand building, throwing and decorating techniques. The course fee covers tuition, clay and the firing and glazing of four finished pieces (students can fire as many of their masterpieces as they like, but there will be a small kiln charge for extra items.)

Location: The courses will run at The Mud Rooms, Buckhurst Works, TN39BP

Parking: There is free parking on site
